I am going to see if I can get this going to share pictures, recipes and whatever else comes to mind. I love to sew and quilt and cook, and I love my family. I live in Alaska with my husband. We have one son at home and 3 grown children.

Hi Kathy,
Welcome to the blogging world. I noticed that you have a link to my grocery bag tutorial on your new blog site, I am honored to be there. I hope you enjoy doing the blog thing. I have been doing it myself only since January and have found it a good way to keep a journal of my sewing and knitting creations. Since I give away many things, it is fun to be able to "visit" them again.
keep posting, I will check back.
regards from Michigan.
Denise
Hi Kathy,
Found your blog from reading your funny posts at 'Warm pie, happy home". You've got some great southern memories! Love your easy bag tutorial. I'm going to try one for myself. Love the idea of making and selling at your church. They would make great Bible totes also! I haven't started the blog thing myself...I just seem to read others instead!
Blessings!
Patti
Hi Kathy,
I wanted to thank you for dropping by my blog and for leaving such a kind comment. It's a small world, isn't it? If you enjoy the Memphis photos, you might enjoy my daily Memphis photo blog, "Good Abode". You can find it in the top right hand sidebar on my Southern Heart blog, or on my blog list on my profile.
Thanks again for stopping by...it's so nice to meet you!
YEAH!!! Another Alaskan!!
Hi,Kathy, I thought I had stopped by here, but guess I did not. Thank you SO much for the sweet compliments on my bedroom. I'm glad you got some inspiration from them. You asked about consultations in Alaska & I am going to do some online consultations with pics & see how that goes. Let me know if you'd be interested. I'll have a flat rate fee depending on what all you want to do. There's only so much you can do via the internet, but I have been able to help with paint colors, some furniture arranging, & accessory help, so just let me know!
Thanks,
Rhoda
